Welcome to Moore Middle School

I am Kendric Smith, and I am beyond excited to serve as your Interim Principal. I’m stepping into this year ready to dive into the work and fully embrace the "middle school mystery". From the inexplicable disappearance of every pencil in the building to the incredible growth our students achieve daily. I truly love this age group, and I’m ready to hit the ground running.

At Moore MS, we live out the 5 Guiding Principles of Celina ISD. We believe in high expectations and ensuring every student is truly known, challenged, and supported. Middle school is a rollercoaster of growth (and questionable fashion choices), and our staff embraces the ride with structure, heart, and a genuine love for our students.

Success is a team effort. We know you are trusting us with what matters most. We are honored to work alongside you to ensure your student doesn’t just get through middle school, but truly thrives in it.
